I've bought myself a Nvidia 8800GT to replace my 2 6600GT cards.
My question is this, should I remove the drivers for the 6600 prior to removing cards.
I have the latest 8800GT driver sitting on my desktop waiting for me to install the card.

Hi, I would remove the old drivers and shutdown the computer.
Replace the card, reboot and install new hardware/drivers.

I do not use an SLI setup, you may need to disable this if an option/remove any drivers.

I thought that would be the way to go.
Thanks.

there maybe a switch on the motherboard to stop sli, otherwise it will stop automatically when you install new drivers and the card
