Can anyone advise on the most effective and cost efficient way of transferring Analogue video (from camcorder or VHS video) to DVD.I have see USB devices (Belkin etc) that attach to the Video and audio phono plugs on the camcorder but how do these compare against a video card or video capture card?I don't want to get into major expense as I only want to back up home movies.
Your video player, aeriel plugged into a TV card (approx £30) is a an easy way to get analogue video onto your computer, quality is limited to the original recording on the tape.
