AMI BIOS -network boot F12 option

  dagwoood 19:37 25 May 2004

On boot up, if I press F12(to network boot)then shift tab it shows some boot up options.

This is displayed as 2 lines(labled 1 and 2)the first line is the option to boot from local devices, the second line is to boot from a network. Directly below these lines is a flashing hyphen.

After a few seconds my system boots.

Does this mean my h/d is set to boot from local devices first, or is there some way for me to select line 1(i.e.boot from local devices first).

N.B In my normal BIOS settings I cannot see an option to disable boot up from a network.

Cheers, dagwoood.
