I am looking at two laptops one with AMD Athlon XP-M 2200 and one with Intel P4 2.4 Ghz.Athlon is consideraby cheaper. Can anyone advise on whic is best way to proceed as I keep reading conflicting reports on Athlon vs Intel.
I think the rest of the components (RAM, HDD, DVD/CD drive etc) is more important than which brand of processor u use
i think the connectivity is very important as well, do they both have plenty of USB ports, firewire ports etc.?
Make sure you go for the MOBILE processor, Instead of the DESKTOP processor. These processors will only run at the needed speed to save battery power. When needed they'll speed up to the maximun speed.Intel's click here&AMD's click here
