AMD 64 3200 or XP 3200

I am looking to upgrade and wish to know your thoughts on the amd 64 3200 and the xp 3200. Which is better? Why? and can I put my Jet 7 cooler on either of them.
Does XP Pro work on the 64 bit or is there new versions of Xp designed for it?
Any other assistance regarding these CPU would be appreciated.

Thanks for that interesting fact sheet, but I find that its a bit inconclusive.

You will notice no difference between the two. 64bit is really only any use for networks, unless you are running a server with 50 workstations 64bit will be of little use. What are you upgrading from and why?

I totally agree with GANDALF <|:-)>, unless you are using it for a server you will not notice any real difference, if you are using it for general office applications then you would be better getting an XP 2200 and spending the difference on having fun.

Even if you have a 1400 you will still not see any great improvements in performance With a 3200 or 64bit.

Wait for a couple of years untill technology catches up then think again.
