amd 1200+ comparison

i have an AMD duron 1200+, how does this compare to a pentium chip?, ie p2, p3, p4, and mhz?

As far as I know there was not a 1200+ cpu the first XP+ cpu was 1400+, the Duron is a budget version of the Athalon with smaller cache memory as is the celeron to the PIII etc. Duron may be a little faster than its Celeron counterpart but not by much. either way a 1200 MHZ pc is fine for most apps, only falling behind on recent games, looking for fast processors.

The Elite K7SEMv3 M/B has an onboard processor fitted as standard and is shown as being a 1200+.
It is in fact a duron 900 clocked to 1200,Is this the motherboard that you have?.
