Does anybody know of a good alternative to Windows Explorer for Window 7.

As above, Windows Explorer is a File Folder. Press WinKey+E to bring it up

No, I really mean Windows Explorer. It behaves in ways that really get on my nerves, like;

Having to locate on a particular folder when it's opened, and waiting to do it just when you're selecting the folder you want, and

Deciding to place the folder you select right at the bottom of the screen for some odd reason.

Hence I'm looking for an alternative to Windows Explorer.

Ok, a quick look on Google has given me a number of good options. I'm currently trying "Cubic Explorer" & it's looking good.

Directory Opus is an excellent Explorer replacement. Neither versions are free but you get 30-60 days to try it out to see if you like.

Try Explorer2 at http://zabkat.com/

There is also a "Light" edition I believe. I have run this for over 2 years as the paid for version.
