almost half an hour to login to pca

hi folks.this past few days its been very slow getting onto this site for me.when i say slow i mean,it takes 7-8mins just to load the login page then the same for each page after that.

to get to the helproom today and post this took almost half an hour on 600k connection :-)

all other sites seem to be working fine for me,is pca having problems or is it me?i cant figure out what the problem is?

ps.im using ie6 xp,home.

try deleting cookies and all temp internet files

Hello. Thats not the site at fault by looks of things but your connection. I'm too connecting at 600k ntl without a speed problem. Try switching off pc, turn off modem for 2 mins, turn back on, then turn pc back on, see if this helps...

was the first thing i tried OneSirKnight.also tried system restore to a few days ago when all was well.no joy.

my hard drive is defragged and i use cleanup regularly.i have also ran adaware and spybot along with my av,all clean.i have tried a repair of internet explorer aswell.

as above its seems to be only with this site though unfortunatly :-(

joelmb,my connection to any other website seems fine.i know that doesnt nesessarily mean its not my connection thats at fault.how do you suggest i check it?

i have ran a test click here? and am getting 569 to 605kbits a sec.

mmmnnn? maybe its just an ntl thing then hatchey.server stats in my area reports no problems click here
