Alert about registry HKEY

Security alert - "...wants to write value to system registry key that belongs to modules executed during system startup. HKEY_USERS\..." then whole load of numbers followed by "\software\microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce." I'm given the option to Allow or Deny or add to trusted file. Using Vista Home Premium.
How do I know whether to allow or not? Any ideas?

It's the whole load of numbers that are important, post them as well. Have you installed anything lately?

Thanks Maj. "HKEY_USERS\s-1-5-21-941907481-4055079570-1530281997-1000\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce". Few weeks ago I installed my copy of Quicken 2001 (from my old pc) on Vista and which seems to work okay, although I cannot use QuickenHelp.

Sorry for delay getting back to you but I don't understand. Is it safe to allow this & override the alert? The link only served to confuse me.
Also now I'm getting "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SessionManager" alerts.

Now no expert in this but as it appears to be a Microsoft program I would allow it.It usually appears when you update Internet explorer.But maybe better waiting until someone can agree or disagree with what I have said.
