Aldi High Speed DVD Creator

  Chessman 13:47 22 Mar 2005

I noticed in Aldi's 17th March offers a High Speed DVD Creator £29.99 for transferring VHS tapes to PC and hence eventually to DVD. It says that it will xfr tapes to digital MPEG files, will allow them to be edited and stored on my PC and will capture and encode in MPEG 4.2 and 1. I wonder if anyone has any experience of this type of kit and would recommend it. My reason for asking is that I have a number of elderly reference videos that I use and would like to xfr them to DVD for easier viewing.

The easiest and quickest way to transfer them is buy a stand alone DVD recorder and plug the VHS player into it, you get realtime transfer against very longtime transfer. ;-))

Type VHS to DVD in the search box on the left for more info.
