Air supply

When fitting casing fans; is it better to have them extracting, or supplying air to the casing?

It's normal that the fans at the front of the case suck air in, and those at the back blow air out. There are (should be) small arrows on the side of the fan to indicate direction.

Hope this helps.

You are trying to acheive a flow of air through the case to extract heat so do as vinnyT says.

However if you only have one fan then should be extract.
