My computer crashed last week. So when it starts up now all you get is 1 long and 2 short beeps.
I had a play around and got to the agp slot. I am using an old PCI graphics card at the moment because thats the only way it will start.
I have 3 other agp cards and none of them work.

Do I need a new motherboard ?

Try resetting the BIOS by either a jumper on your board? or remove battery for 30seconds and refit.

I have already tried that, if you mean CMOS. I also did the battery.

Is AGP enabled in BIOS?

I think it is, when I installed the pci card it loaded the default settings.
Also when I originally built the pc it booted from the default settings so resetting the cmos should be ok.
Right or wrong ?

This is all very well how to set up your bios.

But how do you do that when you your computer will now start up with AGP card installed.
