AGP Graphics card question ???

Hi

I'm flogging a (lovely wee) Graphics card on e-bay. Its a "GeForce 6 6600". click here

One of the punters has asked me if its "1.5v or 3.3v specification"!

I thought that AGP cards were pretty much standard & cant find anything about "V" ratings in the blurb that came with the Card.

Any ideas how I should answer this?

Thanks for any advice.

If it is a 6600 then it is AGP 8x or AGP standard 3.0 so its 1.5V click here

It was only the very early AGP x1 and some x2 cards(AGP standard 1) that needed 3.3v......put yours in a 3.3 volt slot (probably need a hammer to make it fit) and you will fry the card.

Many thanks for that explanation gudulf.

I'm afraid I've plagiarised you in my answer so if theres any copyright charges have your people speak to my people :-)

Cheers again.
