After Turn Off- message appears unable to read

  Patc 17:45 18 Apr 2008

Sometimes, when I turn off my computer a message
appears just prior to the machine turning off but it disappears so quickly I am unable
to read it. It appears to be a warning and is about two lines long with a red box underneath. Is there any way of finding out what the message
is and if it is indicating that I have a problem with my computer.

Thank you sorry to be so vague.

I used to get the same message as well. Especially when i often hibernated. I once did read it but i have forgotten now. all i remember is that there is nothing to worry about. it is harmless.

Hope i could help. and i hope it is the same sort of messaege.

It might be a message from the monitor itself, to say that no signal source is connected (which is true, of course, as the computer has just turned off, so there are no signals to the monitor.)

Most LCD monitors show such a warning for a short time after switch off - but normally for long enough to at least read it.
