How to remove the problem
Down load the all clean tool from Nero and save it.
Open control panel/add-remove program and delete all Nero applications.
Run Nero cleanTool twice.( select all options to remove)
then exit.
Restart the computer.
Reinstall the Nero software.
Restart the computer.

Hi again

That has solved the problem with Nero and it now works OK but I now get a box NMBG.monitor.exe unable to locate component. MSVCP71.dll box could not be located. Re installing the program may fix the problem. I assume that relates to Nero again

Any other advice would be appreciated. Many thanks

Mile

I've searched for NMBGMonitor.exe on Google and it only comes up with foreign language stuff.

Does the message come up when you boot up or when you start Nero?

If it's the former it sounds like something is trying to run on start up with a missing component or file etc.

Hi Halmer

It did come on as soon as windows stopped loading. I have had a look at your link brundle but could find no entry relating to scout. I have however. removed it and again ran the cleanup tool.re installed it and at the moment all runs OK. Strange it did before but the box only appeared when I tried to load the latest updates. I don't think I will bother to try and update it again and just leave well alone.

Many thanks. I will mark it as resolved and just hope it does not reappear

Many thanks

Mile
