Advice re: 2 Specific Laptops

I am looking to replace an ageing laptop (Vista)for my wife with a new one running Win 7 Pro. It is mainly for everyday use (no gaming) but I still want it to be of a good specification. Anything between £400-£600 would be reasonable (yes, she is worth it)

I have narrowed it down to 2 from Novatech -

nSpire N1538

nPro N1542

I am aware that these prices are without an O.S. but that is not a problem.

I know there are some of you who have purchased from Novatech but I am really looking for anyone who currently has either of these laptops and could let me know what you think. I really like the idea of No "Bloatware" which I know I would get if I purchased from a local computer store.

Thanks.

The N1542 is undoubtedly a much better specified machine, but if all you need is general use then the N1538 is perfectly adequate.

I will leave this "open" as I am really looking for anyone who currently has either of these laptops
