i just did a forum search of "pc specialist" and got a lot of threads.

I did this but most advice quite old or out of date. For example, now accept credit cards but with 2% premium.

There have been one or two negative threads on this forum in the past, but my own experience of buying a PC from them a year ago was extremely positive. I liked being able to "design" my own system, and you can discuss your configuration with the technical helpline before buying. You can watch the progress of the build, and delivery was bang on target - very well packed, with user manuals and backup disks etc. The after sales helpline is also always available if needed.

Have a look at the testimonials on the site. Nobody asks you to write anything - in fact they don't even mention it, and there are over 1100 messages of which the great majority are very happy.
