Advice on a laptop

  Vimal 17:12 10 Aug 2008

I wish to buy a laptop. The ones I have seen are Dell, Siemans and HP.
Costing between £300 and £375.
I know I need at least 2GB Ram
Vista I can live with.
Most have a 15" or 15.5" screen, this is fine.
Now the issue is the difference in the processor! How can I compare them? Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron 2?
Is there a guide out there to explain the difference?
Any help would be useful.

Go for the Core 2 Duo. All Celerons are for the low end of the market.

More important ~ What are the most intensive things you may wish to use it for?

Thanks All

Most important question was the processor.
Core 2 Duo is the one to go for.
