Is there anything I can do stop large adverts popping up. For example if I go into a website where I play games, I get a large advert of roulette. Again if I look at a shopping web, I get one for Asda. Sometimes when I look at my taskbar I have got loads there. I can I stop this happening, obviously I have got pop up's blocked

If you have not already got one I would download and run an anti-spyware program like Malwarebytes

I ran Malware and I then opened two different websites. I opened Pogo and I got a big ad for William Hill I closed that and opened another web site for TV listings and got a big ad for loved They all seem to be relevant in some way to the website I am going to.

You could try this if using I/E.

It only leaves a little icon on the Status bar.
