got new pc with win64 bit os, istalled pci adsl modem from old pc, windows cannot find drivers on cd. so unistalled and tried external usb adsl modem, same problem although different driver cd, have tried LAN and WAN but still cant find drivers
Check the manufacturer of the modems for 64bit drivers; they are somewhat thin on the ground at present.
unable to find any drivers for adsl modem, no manufacturers name only adsl pci on cd. Also tried local shop for adsl modem suitable for xp64 but still no joy. Think I'll send pc back and keep old one
Sending back the PC could be a risky business. On what grounds?
Speedtouch 330 has 64 bit drivers click here
"not suitable" ok - hope that works for you but if you ordered it with XP 64bit then you may have some problems.Give the seller a call and see what is said.
decided to keep pc, unplug HD, install new HD with xp pro, and wait till xp64 is more user friendlythanksbye
