Adobe reader versions

I see that we are now to version 7. I hope this is the right palce for query but has anyone anyhting to day about it; is it an improvement on 5 and 6; any downsides/ upsides?

Quicker,brighter and so far no problems.Have not installed extra programs.

It may be my imagination but it does seem to load quicker than 6.

I've been using it for about 3 weeks and used it quite a lot. Loads lot faster and no problems up to date.Dennis

It loads faster because it adds to the startup folder.

Disabling it gives more or less the same loading times.

Thanks Powerless for your clarification; I would have thought about upgrading if indeed it did load faster. But as it is, I will remain on version 5. I have yet to find a file that will not open with v.5 and others seem to add yet more bloat to the program.

I've found that V5 was good for olders PCs, but put V6 on them and it's painfully slow. It's the Find command that's the most annoying. What's this like in V7?
