adobe help do i need all these progs?

i have Adobe type manager-Adobe Acrobat 3.5 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 and Adobe Acrobat 8.0 on my pc.do i need all these progs or only one and what is it really used for as i dont recalll using it at any stage,any ideas welcome thanks,

Remove all instances of Adobe Acrobat reader.
If you need to have the reader installed for specific reasons the latest version can be downloaded here click here, if you just want to be able to view PDF files then Foxit is a great alternative click here. Much smaller than the official Adobe product.

I would keep Adobe Acrobat 3.5. Although this is now pretty ancient a replacement would be very expensive. It will allow you to convert e.g. Word documents to .pdf format.

If you just want to look at PDF files occasionaly,get rid of Adobe completely and use Foxit.
