Adobe Gamma

Hi. I am trying to run a monitor calibration program and it says I have to turn off Adobe Gamma (which I have installed as part of Photoshop Elements) Can anyone tell me how to do this please because the Adobe Gamma doesn't seem to have any option for turning it off and doesn't appear on the add/remove programs list in control panel

ctrl+alt+del to open task manager; under Processes can you see adobe gamma running and choose to end process?

Adobe Gamma is I think a use on demand tool. You choose when to calibrate the monitor. Not sure why they say turn it off.Though as Keef says you can if you wish.

Thanks I have found the answer to be by right clicking "start" and then going to "programs" and then "start up" and then deleting adobe gamma from the list

thanks again
