Someone I know has started to make their e-portfolio as part of the school project now he says the buttons he has made with links were made with adobe fireworks, and they are pretty cool so I have decided that I might give it ago seeing that it is pretty simple thanks to a tutorial on youtube.
Anyway the system that we use to make the e-portfolio is nothing fancy whatso ever just a few buttons and the options to change color and fonts. Many people do not like it and some of the teachers have even said they would like to use dreamweaver but at the time it costs a lot of money.
Since we cannot do anything fancy what I would like to know is how does he get the buttons on the page and then add a link into it.
I have now tried uploading a picture to a webpage and then add a link and yes that does work.
So my query is when you make the nice buttons in fireworks when you save them do they get saved as a jpeg? which you can then upload to webpages and add links
Anyones answer will be great
