Adobe 8 reader, I may have deleted some files!

In my attempts to get Photoshop working, I may have deleted files pertaining to reader 8.0, 'cos it can't open PDF's anymore.
Is it better to un-install it and re-install, or just download, and assume that it will over-write the original?

Just found there is a new version..9 !
can't keep up with these people!

I've decided that Foxit is all the reader I need!'re gone!

You could have tried using "Repair Adobe Reader Installation" on the Help menu - but I agree with you, and also prefer Foxit

Well done, six-h.

The bloatware and constant update nags of Adobe Reader has no place on any computer, not when there's something as lean, clean and effective as Foxit around -- for free.

Agreed, I've used Foxit before, but for some reason, my "PC "uru" seems to like people to use Adobe!
They are not my favorite people at the moment! I'm having horrendous problems with Photoshop Elements 5.
Of course, there is no assistance from the compamy! That would be too much to expect!!
