Administrator Problem in XP

  Narayan Adhikari 11:17 02 Feb 2007

When I try to run Task Manager, CTRL+ALT+DEL an error msg appears saying 'Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator.'
My user account is the only one in my system and it is showing as Administrator. I tried 'Run As' command but doesn't work.
How to get around this situation?

Have a look at click here and/or click here , both for the same problem.

To help you with this problem Narayan Adhikari, could you inform us of which Operating System you have on your system please?

Well I suggest you try this

Click Start > Run > control userpasswords2

you must type both words with the space also "control userpasswords2" and there you can view your rights etc. and change any if you need to, hope that helps
