administrator account

Having lost my auto logon yesterday which is now fixed.I have a problem with using administrator account on my laptop, I some how switched it off, and can not find away to get it back, nothing works. I am prevented from accessing some system settings like MSconfig, i get access denied, need admin privilidges. I also get system error 5 occurred, when i tried to activate via CMD.

please help, otherwise i will be forced to re-install everything which takes hours.

Have you tried start/control panel/user accounts?

Thanks for reply. have checked user accounts but there is no problem, no tick visible in check box.
tried to restart user and then disable, makes no difference.

I have been locked out of some of my software, due to this, i decided to re-install my Operating system and software. Thanks for your advice, it was appreciated.

Dial a Fix can help reset some group policy restrictions that malware messes with, but you do need to have removed any infection first

the free version of MalwareBytes has the best method I know to do the cleanup for you
