Adjusting Audio on Video Footage.

Hi,

I recorded a wedding using my Sony HandyCam camcorder. However because i didn't use a directional mic (and you could hear a pin drop in the ceremony), on playback you can hear me breathing! I plan on editing the footage using Roxio Easy Media Creator (basic stuff really!)
My question is, is there some super-duper software out there which will allow me to adjust the audio levels of the footage thus lowering the audio from behind the camcorder.

Thanks

Paul

Hi, I use Pinnacle's Studio 10, this has lots of Audio controls.

No doubt, others will have their own preferences though.

Most of the video editors will have a sound editor some better than others which should enable you to remove a certain Frequency level say hiss or rumble and of course its not selective it will remove anything at that level. If you just want to remove the sound any will do Magix movie editor has a reasonable editor you could download the trial Adobe elements premiere als or Ulead movie factory.
