I have been trying to add a new email account to Outlook Express. I have followed the help, but get an error message when I try to send an email. The error message is "There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'Sylvia Neagle', Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92" Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
You have been given good advice above so I will not interfere.
As I am also with NTL so would like to point out when you key in your password you do not use the current one, NTL will modify the new password i.e. my original password was 'X101.....but the new one was 'X201..... So make sure NTL have given you the password for your new e-mail.
