  birdface 13:46 09 Nov 2010

Hi I have been using Simple Adblock on IE8 and find it is not compatible with IE9.
Anyone recommend another [free one] that works with IE9.
I have to go out.Doctor appointment so may not be able to answer straight away.

I am never any good at following instructions but managed to do it after a few errors.
Will see how I get on with it.Thanks for your help.

its a pity IE Pro lost the plot and never kept up with ie8 and ie9 in the way it did for previous versions

Yes I totally agree with you.I used IE Pro for a couple of years ,well since it came out not sure how long ago that was.
And like you say it has lost the plot especially with that last update.

You have probably noticed with a few threads of mine that I have been having a lot of problems with errors on the page which has been slowing I/E down a lot.
Since I downloaded that Adblocker things have picked up a bit and pages are opening a lot quicker so I would say it is worth trying if you have problems with I/E.
It also works with IE8.
