Adaware advice please

  Old Shep 15:21 06 May 2004

I have just downloaded Adaware 6.0 and run it. Itfound 66 tracking cookies and 1 registry entry called ALEXA. Is it safe to delete these or will I loose the cookies that save certain information like bank site part info.

alexa is part of the IE it can track your surfing i think, and yes you should be able to delete most of them , if not sure just click on more information

Delete the lot of 'em :-)

Always do that with whatever ad-aware finds, unless it's, if you ever get that be very careful

should be ok to delete as they are tracking cookies ie they inform the original site of were you go they don't hold any info on your bank etc. I've been deleting them for ages now but don't have any problem with my online bank access etc.

Hello again, yes delete them all no problems. You can be sure that anything ad-aware shows is safe.
