Ad aware problem

I seem to have picked up a pop up advertiser that not even adaware or My installed Windows Live one care can get rid of. It opens up ads by Decads as a pop up. I have run various scans and cleaned out the system a few times, but it always comes back. I think that I clicked on a link once and allowed it by mistake.

It does not seem to be causing a problem, but I would like to get rid of it. Has anybody seen this one, and how do you delete it?

this cleans most of the rubbish related to popups and spyware.

I have tried Superantispyware and yes it did pick up a load of things, but when I turned on my computer today, back came the same old rubbish. Has anyone got any more ideas?

Turn System Restore Off, then run SAS again reboot and turn System Restore back on (You will lose all your old restore points)

If rawprawn's method doesn't move it, run SAS in Safe Mode. It's more likely to be effective when the processes you're trying to remove are not running in the background.

I have tried Rawprawns method, and the problem usualy arises as soon as I log on to FireFox. So far so good, nothing has shown up.

Thanks for all your help.

The pop up Ads by DCads has reappeared despite all the checks and scans. It does not show up as a threat on Windows live one care or Spyware Doctor. Can anyone else help to get rid of this pest?
