Using Vista on a new PC. When I try to open the site that connects me to my desktop at work I get message ' To help protect security IE has stopped this site from installing ActiveX. Click here for options..'
When I click annd give it permission to install ActiveX I get 'Windows has blocked this software because it cannot verify the publisher'.
How do I get ActiveX

Add the site to your Trusted Area, if you're sure it's safe.

"Double-click on the Security Icon in the Status Bar (it's usually a globe
icon). Select Trusted Sites when the Internet Security Properties window
pops up. Click on Sites. The page you are on should be entered by default.
Choose Add.

Make sure the Status Bar is visible by going to Tools > Toolbars, and
putting a check next to Status Bar."
