Hi all wondering if someone can share advise.
I brought an SSD to replace my hard drive and I imaged the old drive with Windows on and stored it on my external drive.
When I installed and configured my SSD and loaded the Acronis CD from boot and attempted to restore that image - an error appeared
"Failed To Read Data From The Disk" A Possible reason could be bad sectors on the disk"
I verified the image and the same problem as above.
I tried a restore image I had on my External Drive which went through fine.
Anyway forward please?
Are you ensuring that when restoring the disk image to SSD. the disk signature box is ticked?
Yes I do all that.....
It seems that my new SSD is faulty so therefore returning it for an RMA.
