When restoring with Acronis should you not use Acronis CD to start restore?

  richierich 11:19 10 Aug 2007

the acronis cd is used to initialise the restore but when that is done you have o boot up windows as normal and that is the problem,
acronis says the restore has been done succesfully but when i try to boot up i get the missing file message

You do not need to use Acronis CD at all, unless your system will not boot. Use "Restore" from within Acronis and follow instructions.
