acer aspire 7520 unpartition

i have an acer aspire 7520,and it is split into two partitions of approx 32.5gbi keep running out of space on drive c.
drive d is data and is empty.
can i unpartition c and d and merge them together,im pulling what little hair i have left,please help me.

If you are using XP, use acronis, google for a free try. It will merge both partitions without altering any files or settings.

If you use Vista. Use the shrink and expand tool in disk management.

You have to shrink volume from the other drive first.

i did,now i have three partitions,32.51=c,21.06=d,and 11.19 unallocated.

all above are gb

Now expand C with the space from the unallocated.
