After reading how to access web mail via Outlook Express, as explained on page 113 in "Tips and Tricks" Autumn 2002, I tried to do this with my Yahoo.com account but after completing all the steps and trying to access from Outlook, a message is displayed " Imap server could not be found".

On the E-mail Server Names page what are the correct details that should be filled in ?

Also I would like to know when setting up an internet connection should "Log on using Secure password authentication" and "My server requires authentication" both be ticked ?

Many thanks.

The pop and smtp settings are as follows:

pop.yahoo.com

smtp.yahoo.com

Authentications can be left unticked.

Some servers do require "My server requires authentication" ticked, Lycos does, so if you find you get errors after trying recap's suggestion, tick the box.
