Access violation at address

  Sea Urchin 17:53 14 Jul 2007

I have been using driveragent very successfully for a couple of years to update my system drivers. However, when I now try to use it the scan reaches 12% and then I get the message "Access violation at address 00000000. Write of address 80000000".

Any ideas how I might try to sort this would be very welcome.

Thanks Rapscallion. I had previously googled the problem, but unfortunately I can't find a solution on the displayed pages.

Thanks again - this looks very promising. Have to go out this evening, but will play around with it tomorrow.

Have tried the options listed on the Driveragent FAQs but unfortunately makes no difference. I will tick this as resolved (although it's not) and pusue other investigations.

Thanks again for your help Rapscallion.
