I need to be able to set up access to remind me when members annual subs are due, can it be done.Cheers to anyone who can help

One way is to run a report against the due dates on perhaps a weekly basis comparing it to todays date plus 30 days so that you know 1 month in advance.

The date function is Date() so your criteria for renewal date would be <=Date()+30

Presumably you will change the renewal date once payment is received so only unpaid and payments due in 30 days will be reported.

Hope this points you in the right direction.

Thanks Crunchy, how do I do that?

Create a new report using Report Wizard. Select Renewal Date, Name and Address against the table you are storing your data. Access will build the basic report for you.

Go back into the properties of your new report in design mode and click the build button against the Record Source. If access asks you if you are ok with using a query to get the data that is fine.

Drag down the Renewal Date etc and in the criteria for Renewal Date type <=Date()+30

Save the report and give it a try.
