Access Database Error....help!

Hello Helproom.

The Microsoft Jet Engine could not find the object "Databases"..... this is the error I get when I try to re-open an Access database.... any ideas would be greatful.

Been there, done that etc.

There can be many reasons - usually revolving around different versions of Access trying to run different versions of created databas.

The link below is the best I found to try and guide me through. It needs a bit of time and effort, but nearly anything to do with Access working less than perfectly does!

You have to register (and it's free) and there are some really clever Access guys in there. As it's predominantly USA, it might take a little longer to get responses, but it is a very busy board. Problems I've had usually get cleared reasonably quickly.
