Accelerated voice on videos

  Big Nate 17:30 16 Oct 2011

When I play a video, or listen to radio on my laptop, the voice is accelerated, or it sounds just like speaking after inhaling helium. My operating system is Windows 7. This problem just started within the last week or so. I personally have made no changes to my system, so I am curious to what make this occur. Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts and ideas on this subject.

Check in control panel if you have a sounds manager and check the settings. Otherwise right click the sound icon in the notification area and select sounds then Windows default. Apply and ok.
