I have a jetway 867 mobo but don't have the disc supplied with it. I can't get the sound to work (obviously no drivers (AC 97 2.1 Codec)). The Jetway site is temporarily out of use for driver downloads (has been for a few days for updating).

Any thoughts where to get some?

Many thanks

John

Cherria - I had tried there earlier but there was nothing specific.

Bow 1 - that site looks quite nice - I've put it in my favourites!

My problem was I didn't quite know which drivers I needed. I looked at another jetway mobo and that is definetyely Via drivers - but on this mobo they couldn't find any via sound chipset. A detailed look at the manual revealed the drivers were to be installed in codec\alc201\...... Asearch for alc201 came up with that being a Realtek driver, so I am about to give that a try.

Thanks - I'll let you know if it works.

Cheers

Have you tried the Windows UpDate website (providing you are using Windows!)

It provides driver updates for C-Media onboard sound chips so could well do so for your mobo.

Stuart

That did cross my mind but sometimes can be heavy work when you don't quite know what your looking for!

Anyway, the Realtek drivers have done the job OK.

Many thnaks again

John
