Abit max 3 LAN trouble

  trowel 20:36 25 Mar 2005

On my abit 875p max 3 main board i have 2 SATA Raid Drives on the on board Silicon image raid chip, when i enable the onboard Intel pro LAN the SATA drives dissapear, and in device manager the silicon image controller gets a yellow exclamation mark and a code 10 (device cannot start). Then when i disable the LAN in the bios again the SATA drives reappear and the SATA controller returns to nornal.

can anyone suggest what is happening or a fix for this

I haven't a clue as to what is wrong with your board, but have you updated your drivers? Is this the MotherBoard IC7-MAX3 click here

The bios and Drivers there are dated 11 o4 & 12 04 if you haven't got them installed, then try them!

yes the drivers are up to date .I have posted on the abit forum as well but no news, it seems a weird problem- not one i've encountered before. Still i'm sure i'll find the answer eventualy thanks for your response anyway.
