98 SE upgrade

I have an IBM PC 350MHZ PII 256MB RAM which I've had for around four years and runs Windows 98. Am I able to upgrade it to Windows 98 SE and if so, how do I go about this and what, if any, difference will there be between the two versions ? Or is it not really worth the trouble ?

Win98SE will be better able to use USB with fewer problems; otherwise no real advantage.

Apart from the old guidance, if it aint broke .......

M$ decided that there were so many improvements on W98 that they decided to SELL the Second Edition, instead of giving away a mass of updates.

Yes if you are going to "improve" that computer
then this is the way to go. Win98 SE has proved to be (relatively) stable, manageable and trustworthy, so much so that their warnings to discontinue support last autumn, have been withdrawn and given another couple of years at least before M$ disowns its best of Windows.
