8cm cdr's

hi all , just asking about 8cm cdr's . can you use them in ordinary cd writers to store data/music just as normal cdr's or is a specific writer required.

Yes you can use them in ordinary CD writers. Apparently a few Plextors don't like them but as a rule of thumb, if the tray had a 80mm depression, it will be OK.

does this allow hifi systems , as long as they have the 8cm tray to play the music stored on them.

As long as you burn an audio CD.

A few makes may not but that will be a CDR problem not an 8cm CDR problem.

You're welcome. I use them a lot for two purposes

1. as a sales brochure. Far better than a printed one - much more versatile as to what you can put on them and

2. For MP3 files. You can get loads of MP3 music on to one of these disks - 4 hours easily.
