8800GT or 8600 GTS OC

Hi , just debating on wheather to purchase a BFG 8600 GTS OC 256mb running at 710/2000 or spend an extra £20 and get the xfx 8800gt 256mb running at 600/1400 for £70

any help would be appriciated

I would get the 8800, it's got more potential long-term. You can always overclock it later. There are plenty of good tools to do this for Nvidia cards.

I would seriously have a look at your PSU to make sure an 8800GT will run on it!
It needs 24Amps and a lot of people dont realise their PSU does not output that much, never mind 450Watts!
It depends what you want the card for and the spec of the PC its going into.
There is a massive difference between the 8600GTS and the 8800GT and the GT is worth the extra £20 if your system runs it.
