83 seconds to load NTL BroadBand???

I am on NTL Broadband at 600kb but it takes 83 seconds to get the NTL home page. after that any other website or favourite that I have is almost instant. anyone else have this problem???

using the same service here and no problems at all. You could try the ntl user forum at click here . This has users who work for ntl and are far more likely to be able to reply to your question..........and yes it is "nthellworld".....lol... good luck.

just tried it myself.......no joy gettin' in..the net is very slow tonight.....try again later or tomorrow.......typical ntl!!..lol...worth the wait though....you'll meet a lot of good people

Having spent some few minutes registering with nthellworld, how do I log in?????? all i get is "you don't have permission etc...."

Once you've registered with the website yuo need to logout again until your registration has been accepted.

I an on NTL and noticed that the ntlworld.com website has been slow (not 83 seconds though). I have a static DNS entry for the 2 NTL DNS servers which seems to help :) on my PC in the TCP/IP settings.
