Hi, today I tryed to connect 6 times, but connection speed was about 33.6 Kbps. I think I changed something in setting but what?

Well for starters you'll never get 56 kps - its a theoretical maximum. What did you used to get?? What settings did you play with? What version of windows?

  WebGuy 20:00 29 Oct 2003

Actually It was 52 Kbps (little differense).

4000 bits difference is quite a bit. Are you sure BT aint slapped a DACS on your line?

  WebGuy 20:02 29 Oct 2003

No, Irish Eircom

Maybe they DACSed it

  WebGuy 20:07 29 Oct 2003

How can I bring it back?

  daisy2bell 20:49 29 Oct 2003

for people who want to read his other problem

make sure you have antivirus software and its upto date, make sure there are no virus

if you have changed your connection settings, how about re-installing your isp software that should configure the connection back to the default
