540g0c99.exe & fa45arnw.exe - what are these?

  JEFoord 23:03 15 May 2004

All of a sudden i have found that when i start my pc i get a window saying windows is trying to find a missing shortcut for 540g0c99.exe and fa45arnw.exe. Can anyone tell me what these are and how to get rid of them please.
I have tried to disable them at startup by using msconfig but they keep coming back.
Any ideas would be very welcome,

Don't know what they are, but just in case:

Download Ad-Aware from
click here and Spybot S&D from click here

Update them and run them.
