3G Router & Dongle

Living out in the sticks presented me with a challenge of obtaining an internet connection.

I have succeded by using 3mobile,pay as you go and aerial attached to a Huawei 160g dongle.
I then purchased a Huawei D100 Router and we could use 2 laptops wirelessly...."happydays"
until last week when we lost the internet.
We can connect to the router but still no internet!

I can plug dongle into laptop and get on but the router just will not "play"
No new software has been added it just stopped.
Any ideas would be appreciated...and moving house is not an option !!!!!

Do you have a "3" shop locally where you could have it checked out? It does sound as though there could be a hardware fault.

If all else fails, I use one of these "wireless routers" which has so far been reliable click here#

Cheers for that mgmcc but does it have a aerial socket?

I have managed to get my D100 working again!!!

No, it doesn't have a socket for an external aerial. It is actually smaller than a mobile phone and the SIM card goes inside it; it isn't used in conjunction with a separate dongle.
